About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Space Test Management Support Contractor to support the U.S. Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM). This role provides an opportunity to operate in a mission-critical environment directly supporting national security and space domain readiness. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing space test management functions, including coordinating the planning, management, and oversight of test activities to ensure alignment with mission objectives and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI Polygraph), if required
  • 10+ years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) experience
  • 4+ years of experience supporting SAP and/or SCI environments
  • Experience with space operations, space acquisition, and formal Test & Evaluation processes
  • Familiarity with orbital warfare operations or operation center environments such as Tracking, Telemetry, and Command (TT&C), Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), or National Space Defense Center (NSDC)
  • Prior experience serving as a Liaison Officer (LNO)
  • Master's of Arts/Science Degree

Responsibilities

  • Advise STARCOM leadership by providing technically sound, objective assessments of contractor and government Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning, execution, and results
  • Support the integration of test activities and associated funding into overall program schedules and budgets
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive test strategies and key program documentation, including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), Integrated Test Team (ITT) Charters, and Test Strategies
  • Maintain visibility into prime contractor test activities and oversee T&E efforts across more than 20 participating government organizations
  • Support the Chief Engineer in evaluating technology maturity and integration risk of critical capabilities based on system test outcomes
  • Coordinate participation of supporting test organizations in major design and test events, including Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
  • Assess and predict integrated system operational performance (effectiveness and suitability) within the intended operational environment, identifying deficiencies and enabling early resolution
  • Serve as a liaison officer (LNO) to subordinate tactical units, supporting T&E events, refining system requirements, and documenting findings for higher headquarters action
