  • Experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles on complex technical programs.
  • Proficiency with SysML and development of BDDs, IBDs, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, and use case diagrams.
  • Demonstrated real-world experience applying MBSE to support the systems engineering V-lifecycle process, from stakeholder needs and requirements decomposition through architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements management, decomposition, derivation, allocation, and traceability within a system model.
  • Experience defining interfaces and generating ICDs from model content.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. • Create and manage key SysML artifacts, including Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs), Internal Block Diagrams (IBDs), state machine diagrams, sequence diagrams, and use cases.
  • Capture, allocate, derive, and trace system requirements within the model.
  • Generate and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) from model-defined interfaces.
  • Support system architecture, trade studies, interface definition, and requirements verification activities.
  • Partner with systems, hardware, software, test, and program teams to ensure the model accurately reflects the system design and requirements baseline.
  • Establish and maintain model quality, consistency, traceability, and configuration-management practices.
  • Manage verification and validation (V&V) activities using MBSE, including modeling verification methods, tracing requirements to verification artifacts, and monitoring verification status within the system model.
