Are you a highly capable instructor with immersive Joint, Coalition and Space experience and a desire to deliver critical space domain awareness information to all other warfighting domains? Do you have experience leveraging Space Systems for operating, planning, and training with Joint and Coalition personnel from various warfighting domains working in a Space field or mission area ? Do you want to be part of a team that is helping the government solve major national security challenges in the space domain? We need your help. Our team is looking for a professional Instructor with Joint, Coalition and Space experience who will support a United States Space Force organization in the development of comprehensive training, design, and delivery at multiple classification levels on an annual basis. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a strong work ethic, knowledge of Space Force/Air Force training processes and environments, and a demonstrated ability to co-develop and instruct technical training packages in the field of space operational planning at multiple classification levels.

Requirements

  • Experience in Orbital Warfare or Space Domain Awareness missions.
  • Experience with space domain related software, such as ISSA, SPADOC, ASW, BMEWS.
  • Experience working with Space Force/Air Force personnel in training environments.
  • Experience training enterprise mission-focused software applications.
  • Experience in developing and leading in-person classroom or group-based training.
  • Ability to adapt training plans and presentations based on size of class and individual training session needs.
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
  • Must be able to organize and plan effectively.
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract.
  • Ability to obtain a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance with DCID 6/4 eligibility and ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience training technical disciplines to military personnel.
  • Experience effectively leading teams in fast-paced, dynamic, mission-focused operating environments.
  • Experience working with Camtasia, Snagit, Adobe Premier, Adobe Captivate and other eLearning development tools.
  • Understanding of orbital mechanics and data analysis.
  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment.
  • Experience training US and Joint military operators and analysts .

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development of training plans and materials.
  • Conducts both on-site and in-residence training consisting of lectures and practical exercises in accordance with approved programs of instruction using lesson plans, technical manuals, student guides, handouts, practical exercise worksheets, and both written and digital evaluations.
  • Performs analysis of jobs and/or missions to create task lists used in the development of learning objectives, course content, and basis for learning.
  • Performs analysis to identify the student knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for the mission/job/task performance.
  • Develops course learning objectives, test strategy, and test items, as well as determine the instructional strategies and instructional methods and media.
  • Designs and develops instructional material (may be referred to as training support packages or TSPs) and technical documentation.
  • Implements training by ensuring all necessary personnel, equipment, administrative material, and facilities are adequate and available.
  • Participates in the preparation and submission of training plan and training materials according to the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) process.
  • Conducts both virtual and in-residence training consisting of lectures, and practical exercises to customers and/or company employees.
  • Conducts formative, summative, and operational evaluations (both internal and external) to generate metrics used to improve the training system quality.
