About The Position

Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc., (AMA) is seeking an Aerospace System Analyst with experience in human space exploration and technology assessments. The role will support the Space Mission Analysis Branch (SMAB) at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, and the Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate (ESDMD) Science, Technology, Utilization, and Integration Team. The project objective is to provide Space Systems Analysis and Integration support. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 commensurate with education and experience. Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Aerospace Engineering or other applicable degree.
  • Experience in human space exploration and technology assessments.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in Space Systems Analysis.
  • Positive, curious, enthusiastic, and organized, able to work independently and lead small teams.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Teams.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical analyses within the Capabilities Integration Team (CIT), to include interfacing with NASA Strategy and Architecture Office (SAO) leadership, defining tasks, and completing required reviews, analyses, or integration activities.
  • Interface with Strategy and Architecture Office (SAO) leadership, defining tasks, and running the required reviews, analyses, or integration tasks.
  • Coordinate with capabilities teams across the NASA Strategy and Architecture Office (SAO), and act as an interface for providing data products and architecture inputs as needed.
  • Provide analysis and integration of the Capabilities Integration Team (CIT) data products.
  • Review, integrate, and analyze the capability teams inputs; analysis of the CIT products and gap closure plans; and maintenance and updates to the dataset as needed.
  • Coordinate with the capabilities teams across the Agency on submitted data products and architecture team inputs/discussions.
