About The Position

The Space Planning Analyst will be responsible for building reports and communicating necessary data to support chain and sales teams. This role will support set development, validation, communication, and resets for chain accounts. The analyst will manage the reset schedule with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proper lead times and availability. They will analyze post-project scorecards to recap space gains and losses and collaborate with the Business Insights Manager on projects and administrative duties. Additionally, the role involves display communication, building weekly display trackers, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Possess education equivalent to an associate degree plus 3 years of similar or related selling experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Possess the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Possess the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Possess the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance.
  • Possess strong technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Suite, RAS, and space planning software.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR plus ability to travel up to 20% of the time in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Build reports and assist with communicating necessary data to support the chain and sales teams.
  • Support small and large format set development, validation, communication, and resets for chain accounts.
  • Manage the reset schedule with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate and coordinate all parties to ensure proper lead times and availability to complete resets in the market.
  • Analyze post-project scorecard and recap on space gains and losses.
  • Collaborate with Business Insights Manager on projects and other administrative duties as requested.
  • Responsible for display communication and building weekly display trackers.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
