About The Position

As a Space Operations Senior Analyst, you will help keep the systems, tools, and processes behind store space planning and visual merchandising running smoothly. You will work across teams to improve the management of space, floor plans, and merchandising data; solve complex business challenges; and help shape future system enhancements. The position calls for translating business needs into practical solutions and partnering with teams across the organization.

This is a hybrid role. The employee is required to work onsite Monday through Thursday at Best Buy's corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and may work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location on Friday. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, inventory management, space management, architectural planning, or visual merchandising.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• At least 5 years of experience in space management, floor planning, planograms, visual merchandising, retail, or store design.
• Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SQL or other database languages.
• Intermediate proficiency with Blue Yonder or other space management software.
• Experience with programming languages such as C++ or .NET.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Access.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail, merchandising, inventory, or supply chain.
• Intermediate proficiency with Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to expert for space planning and visual merchandising systems and reporting.
• Partner with business and technology teams to define requirements and improve system capabilities.
• Lead and support user acceptance testing for new tools, enhancements, and updates.
• Investigate business issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Manage system updates that support companywide initiatives.
• Create tools, documentation, and best practices that drive operational efficiency.
