About The Position

Space Systems Integration (SSI), a fast-growing engineering company providing aerospace solutions to government and commercial customers, is seeking a Space Operations Integrator in El Segundo, California. The role provides operations expertise across requirements and CONOPS development, systems design and testing, systems integration, and tactical and operational command-and-control analysis. The integrator helps translate space operator mission requirements into developer capabilities, supports the secure scaling of prototyped systems into enterprise operational applications for space, and sustains acquisition strategy development and refinement. The role also supports the government customer through documentation reviews, participation in relevant forums, program execution recommendations, and communications products.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with space systems.
Experience in space operations.
Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI, SCI eligibility, and participation in Continuous Evaluation.
Must meet all requirements for SCI and SAP access and be willing to undergo a polygraph examination.

Responsibilities

Provide operations expertise to requirements and CONOPS development, systems design and testing, systems integration, and tactical/operational command and control analysis.
Assist in translating space operator mission requirements to developer capabilities.
Review documentation and represent the government as required in forums that support streamlined delivery of new capabilities and standardization of integration efforts.
Assist with securely scaling development of prototyped systems to enterprise operational applications for space.
Sustain development and refinement of acquisition strategies, identify program execution issues, and provide recommendations.
Generate presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication products to assist the government customer in achieving favorable program outcomes.
