The Spa Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the procedural aspects of the front desk of the Spa and acting as Manager on Duty for the Guest Services Department. This role ensures that guest and Spa Front Desk team needs and concerns are responded to in a timely, professional, and friendly manner, with a focus on service recovery when applicable. The supervisor will also perform Spa front desk agent duties as necessary, including answering phone calls, booking appointments, processing check-outs, and optimizing the Spa front desk schedule. A key aspect of the role is ensuring proper Spa front desk etiquette to provide excellent service, maintaining safety and security policies, and assisting with the training, coaching, and development of front desk team members, including interviewing. The position requires maintaining knowledge of Spa specials, assisting with creating new ones, preparing daily reports, and completing monthly Spa inventory. Understanding and assisting in solving deficiencies in Spa front office standards is crucial. The role also involves completing cashier and closing reports, adhering to company policies, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and working with the Front Desk team to achieve retail sales goals are essential. The supervisor will also be responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining inventory pars, responding to emails, and ensuring the spa remains clean, tidy, and stocked. Coordinating and communicating Spa Front Desk Schedules and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by the Manager are also part of the responsibilities. Proficiency in understanding spa products and closing retail sales is required.
