About The Position

The Spa Supervisor leads and supports the spa team at Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge, helping create a peaceful, welcoming, and exceptional guest experience. The role maintains service standards and supports smooth department operations from guest arrival through departure. Responsibilities include supervising spa staff, coordinating bookings and reservations, managing supplies and inventory, keeping procedures and communications current, inspecting facilities, ensuring laundry needs are met, and covering Concierge or Spa Attendant duties when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Spa staff and ensure they follow their duties and established standards.
• Maintain and update a daily communications log for Spa Associates.
• Assess monthly inventory needs and reorder supplies from vendors as needed.
• Prepare purchase orders for necessary supplies.
• Maintain and update Spa desk procedures to reflect current policies and protocols.
• Review and coordinate group bookings, addressing group needs and preferences.
• Review daily reservation activity reports to verify treatment accuracy and availability.
• Inspect the Spa and its facilities throughout the day and address defects or operational issues.
• Review resumes and communicate necessary staffing changes or adjustments for arriving groups.
• Ensure daily laundry requirements are met.
• Conduct monthly counts of professional inventory for salon, spa, esthetics, and retail areas.
• Cover Concierge and/or Spa Attendant positions during staff absences or when business demands require.
