About The Position

The Laundry Attendant provides clean linens for guest rooms. The role involves processing laundry according to the property’s procedures, coordinating special requests with the supervisor, maintaining good grooming and personal presentation, and performing other duties assigned by the Laundry Manager and General Manager. The work is performed indoors, with exposure to laundry detergents and other chemicals. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, multitasking, stooping, reaching, and lifting. Requirements

Previous experience with laundry operations.
Organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to read and speak English.
High school education and/or comparable work experience.
Good understanding of brand products and bedding collections.
Ability to see, speak, hear, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, multitask, stoop, and reach.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity for folding preparation, linen displays, and paperwork.

Responsibilities

Clean and properly fold all whites according to laundry procedures.
Coordinate special requests with the supervisor.
Maintain good grooming and personal presentation.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Laundry Manager and General Manager.
Rotate through laundry process areas, including sorting, washing, folding, and pressing linens.
