About The Position

The Westin Jackson, located in the heart of Mississippi's capital city, is seeking a Spa Supervisor to join their Spa team. The Spa Supervisor will assist the Spa Manager in overseeing daily spa operations, including retail, membership, salon, and fitness programs. This role involves managing guest requests, contributing to budgeting and forecasting, handling group bookings and bridal parties, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, and hours of operation, all spa services and products, fitness programs, and salon services.
• Assist in the daily operations of the spa, including booking appointments and managing inventory of professional products.
• Assist in all aspects of the spa member fitness areas.
• Assist with member and fitness billing, cancellations, and changes.
• Assist in all fitness and Spa promotions to generate spa revenue.
• Assist with hiring staff, disciplinary actions, and motivation of staff members.
• Assist with monthly forecasting and maintaining the Spa budget while making optimal use of financial resources.
• Attend hotel meetings in the absence of the Spa Manager.
• Maximize net operating income and owner’s equity through sales generation and cost control procedures.
• Assist with ongoing training and development of each associate.
• Continuous evaluation and improvement of operations.
• Attend sales & catering meetings and work closely with the catering department to accommodate group requests, reviewing group billing and procedures for accuracy.
• Work with the housekeeping department regarding the cleanliness of the facility, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, and tracking spa maintenance work tickets and repairs.
• Ensure that service standards exceed guest expectations and address guest and employee concerns constructively and effectively.
