About The Position
Lake Austin Spa Resort is seeking a dedicated Spa Reservationist to join our team. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for managing reservations, assisting guests, and ensuring a seamless booking experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role offers a competitive hourly wage plus a commission program based on guest arrivals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Comfortable speaking with guests while navigating multiple computer systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous reservations, hospitality, hotel, spa, or call center experience.
- Experience using Opera or Book 4 Time.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and assist guests with booking reservations.
- Process gift certificate orders.
- Quote rates, explain packages, and confirm appointment availability.
- Accurately enter reservations using Book 4 Time and Opera.
- Assist resort guests with scheduling spa services during their stay.
- Respond to guest questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Recommend additional spa services and activities when appropriate.
- Coordinate special requests with other departments as needed.
- Prepare and send reservation confirmations, brochures, enrollment letters, and other guest correspondence.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
- Process online reservation requests.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and reservations by phone.
- Stay informed on current promotions, packages, and resort offerings.
- Assist the Sales and Marketing department with special projects and data collection.
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and guest service.
