About The Position

Water's Edge Resort and Spa is seeking a Spa Front Desk Attendant who is able to give our customers an impressive experience, who has impeccable customer service skills and the perseverance to thrive in a fast-paced role. You must be able to multi-task various duties and ensure that each guest has an overall excellent spa experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer systems and spa scheduling software.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule as shifts include weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Primarily involves sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Requires manual dexterity for computer use, paperwork, and handling transactions.
  • Involves lifting, pushing and carrying of objects (up to 25 lbs).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior spa experience preferred but willing to train

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, offering a calming and welcoming presence.
  • Manage appointments efficiently, scheduling treatments, confirming bookings, and accommodating guest preferences with attention to detail.
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, responding to inquiries, providing information about spa services, and addressing guest needs.
  • Process transactions, handle payments, and reconcile daily receipts with accuracy and attention to financial procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil spa reception area, ensuring a visually appealing and relaxing environment.
  • Promote spa services and products, inform guests of offerings, packages, and promotions to enhance their spa experience.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and data security, adhering to privacy standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with spa therapists and other staff members to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest service.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and guest service.
  • Assist with inventory management of spa products and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient organization.
  • Maintain, clean and restock guest changing areas.
