About The Position

Fairmont Austin, the city's largest luxury property, is seeking a Part-Time Spa Reception Agent. This role is an opportunity to join an innovative and passionate hotel team. The Spa Reception Agent will report to the Spa Director and will be responsible for assisting in the operation of all spa departments, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and promoting a safe working environment. The position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, explaining the Fairmont Spa story, guiding guests towards their needs, processing transactions, and ensuring cash drawer accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Assist in the operation of all spa departments and to have knowledge of all Spa treatments
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests during check in and check out.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
  • Host guests through the facility and familiarize them with the surroundings while explaining the Fairmont Spa story.
  • Guide the guests towards their specific needs when making reservations and offer multiple treatment bookings and up-sells.
  • Communicate all changes, cancellations and additions to the Spa Leadership team.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to Hotel health and safety standards.
  • Process transactions and adjustments daily.
  • Accept responsibility for cash drawer and ensure it balances at close of shift.
  • Perform any duties and responsibilities as assigned, including check lists.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • Direct Members and Guests to appointments and assist them with the use of sauna, steam, whirlpool etc
