The Salon Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional salon services, creating a warm, welcoming, and personalized experience for every guest, and exemplifying Four Seasons’ commitment to service excellence by anticipating guest needs, maintaining high standards of professionalism and cleanliness, and fostering an environment of genuine care and luxury.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Valid State of Hawaiʻi Cosmetology license
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to accurately use computer systems
- Professional attitude with a passion for guest service
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, professional salon services following established protocols
- Perform cuts, styling, chemical services, conditioning treatments, manicures, pedicures, and scalp treatments using current techniques
- Begin and complete services on schedule with consistent attention to detail
- Shampoo, condition, and care for hair and scalp, recommending appropriate products
- Consult with guests on hair and nail care and suggest at‑home products
- Educate guests on salon services, retail products, and spa offerings
- Introduce new products and recommend service or product upgrades when appropriate
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workstations and tools at all times
- Complete salon opening and closing procedures
- Monitor cleanliness and supply levels throughout the salon
- Assist with inventory control and report product needs
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
