About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, hands-on Spa Massage Therapist. The role provides professional massage services tailored to guest needs, supports guest comfort and safety, and contributes to a clean, serene spa environment and exceptional guest experience. The therapist also documents treatments, recommends products and wellness practices, and participates in ongoing training. The position requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. One year of relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Valid state massage therapy license or certification.
• In-depth knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain physical stamina to perform multiple treatments per shift.
• Understanding of contraindications, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical environment; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage services, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other therapeutic techniques based on client needs.
• Conduct client consultations to assess physical condition, medical history, and specific concerns before treatment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment space in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout each session by explaining procedures, adjusting techniques, and responding to feedback.
• Keep accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and relevant observations.
• Recommend appropriate spa products and wellness practices to enhance guests' at-home care.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry techniques and certifications.
• Collaborate with other spa team members to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
