About The Position

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join its Spa team and contribute to a guest-focused service experience. The role is based at a luxury Five-Star, Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The Spa Guest Service Agent is responsible for the operation of the Spa desk, following Peninsula and Forbes standards, coordinating with other departments, complying with Head Office database requirements, and ensuring efficient handovers. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The pay rate is $26.79 per hour.

Requirements

• Two years of reception or spa desk experience in a luxury property is ideal.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to handle a high level of work demand and pressure.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must have work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of PMS/Opera.
• Some knowledge of the rooms department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of all Spa desk responsibilities.
• Know and fully adhere to Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistent performance in accordance with Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest-centric experience.
• Comply fully with Head Office database requirements.
• Ensure efficient operation of Spa desk responsibilities and provide an efficient handover.
