About The Position

As a Spa/Fitness Attendant II, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the facilities at the Spa Without Walls. You will actively engage with guests, assist with their needs, and provide unique experiences through warm, personal, and detailed service in a luxury, upscale, and fast-paced environment. Your role is crucial in creating a positive first impression for guests through meticulous cleanliness, setup, and ambiance control. You will maintain complete knowledge of all wellness and recreation services, activities, amenities, and hotel services. Additionally, you will be responsible for up-selling and promoting wellness and recreation offers to maximize sales revenue, performing opening/closing duties, and adhering to hotel fire and life safety procedures. Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene is also essential.

Requirements

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
• Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in a Spa (Tuberculosis Clearance).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Additional certification(s) in a Spa will be an advantage (Massage Therapist, Cosmetology, Nail Technician, Beauty Operator, Esthetician).

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with guests and assist in all guests’ needs, which may include, but are not limited to: escort guests, provide information on products, review treatment options, restock linen & spa amenities, remove trash, maintain lockers and provide tours or instruction for proper usage of equipment.
• Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression of the Spa Without Walls for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all wellness & recreation services, activities, amenities and hotel services/features.
• Up-sell and promote wellness & recreation offers at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.
• Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set the Spa Without Walls according to standards and procedures.
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
