About The Position

At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating! We are seeking a Spa Coordinator who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while bringing families closer together while caring deeply about our brand. We want to work alongside someone who acts as an extension of our mission, values, and culture. The ideal Spa Coordinator will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. The Spa Coordinator is responsible for providing 5-star service to our guests when they are visiting The Spa at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and attending to their needs. The ideal candidate is an experienced customer service professional, in person or with phone capabilities, with a strong interest in the spa industry and able to multi-task in the daily operation of front and back of house in The Spa. The candidate should have some computer skills for efficiencies with POS system, should be able to work with team effectively and in a manner fitting the Dollywood Company brand. The Spa Coordinator is the first and last person our guests encounter when planning and visiting the Spa and is considered to be the first and last impression for all guests visiting or receiving treatments. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must speak English language proficiently
  • Basic Arithmetic skills, cash handling or credit card transaction skills with accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills are a must
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Must have general housekeeping skills
  • Must maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to utilize effective communication, problem solving, conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Guests and Hosts using approved communication methods
  • Able to comprehend instructions and retain information
  • Able to perform duties consistent with creating a safe and secure environment for hosts and guests
  • Able to be flexible to handle frequent changes in priorities
  • Must display and live out Lead with Love qualities strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture by being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, honest, and committed

Responsibilities

  • Opening and/or closing duties
  • Maintains effective and accurate bookings for spa service providers & guest
  • Performs duties at desk with Excellent Customer Services Skills, from arrivals to departure
  • Has sufficient knowledge of services & product to promote sales of services and retail
  • Ensures POS system/ register is in balance, must have cash/ card monetary handling skills
  • Assists service providers as needed with towels, room sanitation, housekeeping etc
  • Must follow sanitation and safety protocols
  • Performs daily sanitation and housekeeping duties of retail area, restrooms and other public spaces
