About The Position

Responsible for maintaining the reception, lounge and retail areas of the Spa as well as making sure treatment rooms are operational, while providing a positive and friendly attitude. Proficient with scheduling, inventory, opening/closing duties answering phones, check-in and out of appointments while partaking in genuine interactions that provide the highest level of guest service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience.
  • Poses the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining enthusiasm and excellent customer skills.
  • Must be multitask oriented.
  • Mut be extremely reliable
  • Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to tolerate a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement
  • Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 8-hour shift).

  • Candidate must demonstrate computer knowledge with proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft office and outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
  • Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task-oriented environment.
  • Be able to schedule appointments with accuracy and in a timely manner in person and over the phone.
  • Handles the computer booking system and all cash handling procedures with accuracy and ease.
  • Answer phones promptly and friendly.
  • Work well under pressure and handle multiple guests at one time.
  • Knowledge of all spa treatments, salon services and retail items with the intent to suggest service offerings to best tailor the client’s needs
  • The ability to suggest, sell, and provide detailed descriptions of spa services and retail items
  • Maintain bar levels and stock retail times, spa brochures and office supplies
  • Responsible for training new staff members
  • Ability to work unsupervised and have confidence in decision making
  • Prepare purchase orders and ability to receive deliveries
  • Ability to step in as a lead in the absence of the manager
  • Assist manager with inventory
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
