About The Position

The Spa Concierge will greet guests and residents at the Spa Front Desk, administer keys, and handle all administrative functions of the spa. This includes managing spa software, maintaining supply inventory, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering guest inquiries. The role involves monitoring spa appointments to ensure proper staffing and efficiency, processing various transactions, and preparing the facility for opening and closing. Additionally, the Spa Concierge will participate in learning activities, maintain knowledge of hotel services and products, provide spa tours, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1 year experience in a spa or related field preferred.
  • 1 year retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests/residents at the Spa Front Desk and administer keys to locker areas, if applicable.
  • Handle all administrative functions of the spa, including use of spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments and answering questions.
  • Monitor spa appointments and ensure proper staffing to maintain sense of order and efficiency.
  • Process transactions for all events, guest fees, membership fees, dues, etc.
  • Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day.
  • Participate in further learning activities up to and including product knowledge.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of hotel services, products and procedures.
  • Provide Spa tours and perform other duties as assigned.
