About The Position

The JW Marriott Nashville Hotel offers the ideal location for leisure, business and meeting guests in the heart of downtown Nashville, adjacent to the state-of-the-art Music City Center. The first-to-market JW Marriott property includes 533 guestrooms, inclusive of 37 suites, along with a broad array of amenities. The 33-story hotel features 50,000 square feet of indoor function space, an expansive 10,000 square-foot outdoor pool and lounging deck overlooking the city skyline, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, as well as a 15,000 square foot event lawn.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Computer skills and ability to learn spa booking program
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guest, management, and staff
• Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
• Ability to learn and abide by luxury standards put in place to provide the highest level of service to our guests

Responsibilities

• Provide genuine customer service to guests and clients by explaining JW Marriot Spa facilities
• Strip dirty linen, which may require lifting Spa beds weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests
• Visually inspect Spa rooms for cleanliness and appearance
• Responsible for performing opening and closing duties
• Report suspicious persons, activities and hazardous conditions to the Security Department
• Maintain locker rooms, clean and stocked with all amenities, remove soiled linen and trash
• Maintain the Fitness Room cleanliness and ensure it is always stocked with all amenities, remove soiled linen and trash
• Provide a clean and organized atmosphere in the Spa and adjacent facilities
