About The Position

AIRE Ancient Baths are temples dedicated to the creation of the ultimate relaxation experience, where time does not exist. Inspired by the tradition of baths from ancient Roman, Greek and Ottoman civilizations, the AIRE Experience always takes place in restored historical buildings in the center of globally acclaimed cities. At AIRE we are proud to have an international presence with 10 established centers: Toronto, Upper East Side, Tribeca , Chicago, London, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Sevilla, Almeria, and Vallromanes. We are already looking into the future and moving onwards, with our soon-to-be-opened, Los Angeles Facility in 2027. Upper East Side Location: Located among the high-rise blocks of the Upper East Side of The City That Never Sleeps, a forgotten building that used to be MOMA's art warehouse renovates itself to become an AIRE location with over 9,600 square feet. The old walls breathe the creativity from the thousands of pieces of art that once lived in its interior, through which now flows absolute relaxation, thanks to the baths at different temperatures and the six double massage rooms. The historic construction is also a residential building, making it the perfect opportunity to have relaxation at your fingertips. As a Spa Attendant/Link you will play an integral role in providing clients with the AIRE Experience. You will check in and guide clients through their bathhouse and massage experience. You will give bathhouse tours, schedule massages, and tend to client needs throughout the day. You will coordinate with other Spa Attendants/Links and Massage Therapists to ensure all clients are taken care of.

Requirements

Skilled at anticipating the flow of business, thinking ahead, and solving problems before they occur.
Strong attention to detail: ensure clients have what they need, and remember the fine points of their reservations.
Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work quickly and efficiently.
Maintain flexibility with scheduling according to business needs.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a host in a spa or hospitality industry, preferred.
Prior experience with reservation systems, preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and provide them with a tour of the facility.
Coordinate treatments based on the schedule of massage therapists, honoring special requests when possible.
Guide the clients through their experience, leading them from the baths to their massage treatments, etc.
Tend to the needs of the clients during their stay, keeping tabs on them and following up as necessary.
