About The Position

As a Spa Attendant/Link, you will help provide clients with the AIRE Experience by checking them in and guiding them through their bathhouse and massage experience. You will give facility tours, schedule massages, and attend to client needs throughout the day. You will coordinate with other Spa Attendants/Links and Massage Therapists to ensure clients are taken care of. The role is at AIRE Ancient Baths’ Upper East Side location in New York City, a 9,600-square-foot facility with baths at different temperatures and six double massage rooms.

Requirements

Strong customer service mentality and a friendly, outgoing, personable demeanor.
Energetic team player with a passion for assisting high-end clientele.
Ability to anticipate the flow of business, think ahead, and solve problems before they occur.
Strong attention to detail, including ensuring clients have what they need and remembering reservation details.
Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work quickly and efficiently.
Flexibility with scheduling according to business needs.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a host in a spa or hospitality industry.
Prior experience with reservation systems.
CPR certification; the company pays for training.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and provide them with a tour of the facility.
Coordinate treatments based on massage therapists’ schedules, honoring special requests when possible.
Guide clients through their experience, including leading them from the baths to massage treatments.
Attend to clients during their stay, monitor their needs, and follow up as necessary.
Coordinate with other Spa Attendants/Links and Massage Therapists to ensure clients are taken care of.
