About The Position

As a Spa Attendant/Link at AIRE Ancient Baths’ Chicago location, you will help provide clients with the AIRE Experience by checking them in and guiding them through their bathhouse and massage experience. You will give facility tours, schedule massages, attend to client needs throughout the day, and coordinate with other Spa Attendants/Links and Massage Therapists to ensure clients are cared for. AIRE Ancient Baths creates relaxation experiences inspired by ancient Roman, Greek, and Ottoman bath traditions in restored historic buildings. The Chicago location is a restored 1902 factory in River West, near the West Loop.

Strong customer service mentality and a friendly, outgoing, personable demeanor.
Energetic team player with a passion for assisting high-end clientele.
Ability to anticipate the flow of business, think ahead, and solve problems before they occur.
Strong attention to detail, including ensuring clients have what they need and remembering reservation details.
Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work quickly and efficiently.
Flexibility with scheduling according to business needs.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a host in a spa or hospitality industry.
Prior experience with reservation systems.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and provide tours of the facility.
Coordinate treatments according to massage therapists’ schedules, honoring special requests when possible.
Guide clients through their experience, including transitions from the baths to massage treatments.
Attend to clients during their stay, monitor their needs, and follow up as necessary.
Coordinate with other Spa Attendants/Links and Massage Therapists to ensure clients are cared for.
