About The Position

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Hackensack, NJ is seeking an energetic and reliable Spa Assistant Manager with enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter attitude to help oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa. This individual will establish and implement programs to achieve higher levels of service and will motivate staff while providing hands-on leadership. The role requires collaboration, coordination, communication, and cooperation to ensure peak efficiency. This position is responsible and accountable for certain aspects of daily operations, focusing on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. The Spa Assistant Manager will work alongside spa associates at the front desk, handling tasks such as answering phones, booking appointments, greeting customers, and selling memberships and spa packages. Additionally, the Assistant Manager ensures smooth spa operations by managing schedules, maintaining spa supplies, and addressing customer and staff inquiries. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience
  • Past management experience is preferred
  • A passion for people and sales
  • High level of enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated ability to coaching/mentoring with discipline while also taking directive from Spa Manager
  • Strong organizational/planning and computer skills
  • Retail/Sales and customer service experience
  • Experience with a booking system is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays
  • Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line
