As our Assistant Spa Manager at Infinity Spa, you will be the trusted leader and champion for our spa team, translating our commitment to exceptional hospitality into every guest interaction and staff development opportunity. You will be the architect of serenity, ensuring our team members feel supported, trained, and empowered to deliver unforgettable spa experiences while you help steer the day-to-day operations that keep Infinity Spa running seamlessly.
This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who is equal parts empathetic mentor, operations expert, and problem solver. You will take ownership of the spa's daily rhythm, from coaching and scheduling the concierge team to monitoring the locker rooms, relaxation areas, and treatment spaces, always leading with consistency, integrity, and a passion for developing others. You will partner with the Spa Manager to manage budgets, inventory, payroll, and guest feedback, ensuring every detail reflects the high standards our Owners and Guests expect.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 years of related experience and/or training
• Minimum of 1 years of previous supervisory experience preferred (this role co-supervises 12–15 staff members)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) with at least one year of use
• Familiarity with office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, phone, calculator) and the internet
• Ability to type by touch and accurately record time in the Company timekeeping system
• Strong leadership skills — able to lead multiple people, personalities, projects, and tasks with consistency
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in positive and negative situations
• Ability to develop and coordinate clear, consistent training
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to anticipate needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, reviewing, and coaching spa staff
• Manage and mentor the Spa Concierge team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Delegate daily tasks and side projects, ensuring quality and accountability
• Provide front-of-house training and ongoing development for concierge staff
• Conduct annual reviews, coaching meetings, and goal-setting sessions
• Mentor team members toward future leadership roles through best practices and yield management strategies
• Assist with daily spa operations, including locker rooms, relaxation room, grotto, sauna, steam, and treatment rooms
• Monitor staffing levels and schedules to meet business demands
• Respond to and close the loop on all guest feedback — Owner Surveys, Trip Advisor, Facebook, Yelp, Google, and more
• Resolve staff and guest issues with empathy and sound judgment, escalating to the Spa Manager when needed
• Perform all duties of a Spa Concierge as needed
• Assist with the spa operations budget, payroll, and timesheet approvals
• Monitor inventory and supplies, place orders, and verify deliveries within budget
• Assist with invoice and purchase approvals using company software
• Support spa website, group bookings, promotions, social media campaigns, and advertising initiatives
• Develop and edit training materials, procedures, and staffing schedules
• Foster strong cross-departmental communication and synergy
• Uphold and ensure staff uphold Hospitality Standards, Company Culture, and Department Core Standards
• Be the "End of the Line" — resolve every situation inherited whenever possible
• Respond promptly to all email and voicemail correspondence
• Dress professionally, wear a name badge, and adhere to Company appearance standards
• Attend and support training sessions, department meetings, and staff events
• Follow Company environmental sustainability guidelines and participate in sustainability initiatives
• Participate in Emergency Response plans as directed
