This role is responsible for assisting with the production of Sideline Department material, including general operation and daily execution of the DF schedule. The position requires maintaining on-time delivery while maximizing efficiency, working closely with the PWO staging team, production art team, and the DF Production team to ensure smooth floor operations. The use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, is mandatory. Daily setup of DF machines with jobs is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating
  • Candidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Able to cooperate and work well with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be punctual with excellence in attendance
  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
  • Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance
  • Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements
  • Ability to lift and/or move no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Stand 8 Hours
  • Walk 8 Hours
  • Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment

Responsibilities

  • Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.
  • Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.
  • Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.
  • Assist the press operator by loading material on the press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.
  • Operation of machinery used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.
  • Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
  • Ensures that their area and equipment are kept clean and wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
  • Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.
