About The Position
This is a full-time position in a manufacturing environment. The Shipper is responsible for understanding and complying with all company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions. They must take personal responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment and protecting the quality of products. The role requires initiative, accountability, and professionalism, with a commitment to continuous skill development and knowledge sharing. Collaboration and a focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to attain in-house forklift certification.
- Abilities to stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb ladders throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to lint, heat and industrial machinery.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills to understand work instructions, complete documentation, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to follow safety, quality, and production standards.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills, and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
