As a Senior Specialist, SEO & AI Search, you will play a key role in shaping, executing, and evolving the organic search strategy across Altitude Sports and The Last Hunt. Your mission will be to improve visibility, discoverability, and authority across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Copilot.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within eCommerce, retail, media, or high-growth digital environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, e-commerce, computer science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with leading SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Looker.
  • Deeply curious and analytical mindset focused on the evolution of AI-powered search, semantic search, structured data, and AEO.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the SEO and AEO roadmap to support the company’s long-term organic growth objectives.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in SEO, AI Search, and generative search, and contribute to the evolution of the organic growth strategy.
  • Optimize the site's organic performance across technical SEO, site architecture, internal linking, content, and structured data.
  • Conduct technical audits and recommend improvements related to crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and overall site health.
  • Optimize content and site structure to improve visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
  • Conduct keyword, intent, and entity research to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Develop strategies that improve content discoverability, understanding, and citation potential within generative search engines.
  • Measure SEO and AEO performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Run tests, document learnings, and explore emerging tools and technologies related to organic and AI search visibility.
  • Prioritize and lead SEO and AEO initiatives in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Content, CRM, Paid Media, and Analytics teams.
  • Ensure SEO and AEO best practices are integrated into product launches, marketing campaigns, content initiatives, and platform enhancements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on SEO and AI Search across the organization.
