The Aftermarket cost reduction team is responsible for optimizing and maintaining the estimated costs and revenues generated by P&WC engine maintenance contracts for all P&WC engine families (Turbofan, Turboprop, Regionals, Turboshafts and APUs). The Aftermarket cost reduction team leads costs reduction projects and supports shop maintenance activities, commercial offerings to customers and product improvements. We’re looking for an experienced person to lead cost reduction projects, more specifically on the Regional and the Fans engine families. The Aftermarket cost reduction specialist will have to collaborate with many departments, such as Customer Engineers, Customer Managers, MRO Specialists, Commercial experts, Publications, and the Engineering organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Transformation and Engine Maintenance Solutions, the successful candidate will play a critical role in executing our five-year strategic plan for all PCS services and products. Based at P&WC’s Plant 1 in Longueuil, this role will primarily focus on understanding and documenting current sales processes, identifying digitization opportunities, and leading the key projects required to implement the strategy. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 10 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 10 to 15 years of relevant experience is required
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of the employment offer.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive inventory of all PCS services, including existing processes, procedures, and financial policies.
  • Develop future-state processes for PCS sales and related activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, socialize the overall strategy, and enhance customer experience.
  • Track and report on the performance of digital sales, SMART, RMK, and other initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Document the progress of projects related to the PCS group.
  • Analyze and forecast current and future cost trends.
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders and multidisciplinary team members.
