About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Psychosocial Risk Prevention (PSR) Specialist to join our Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively. As a specialist advisor, you will lead the structural and cultural alignment required to meet the provisions of Law 27 modernizing the occupational health and safety regime in Quebec. This role does not involve managing individual cases, but rather focuses on implementing the systems, governance, and audits necessary to identify and control psychosocial risks at the source.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Industrial Relations, Law, or OHS.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in organizational risk management or audit, preferably in a unionized or large-scale environment.
  • Deep understanding of Quebec’s OHS Act (specifically Law 27 obligations), and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Comfortable working with data, conducting audits, and creating structural action plans.
  • Ability to view psychosocial risks through a lens of "hazard identification" rather than "clinical support."
  • Ability to navigate a complex matrix organization and influence decision-making at the management level regarding changes to work organization.
  • Full bilingualism (French/English) is essential to support all our teams effectively.
  • Maintain a professional, neutral, and fact-based approach to risk, distinguishing clearly between organizational responsibility and individual issues.
  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Draw up the annual psychosocial risk prevention program for the A220 site, ensuring alignment with both Quebec’s Law 27 and Airbus global standards.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor the deployment of the corporate PSR assessment approach (EV.RPS) within the Mirabel facility, adapting it to local legislative requirements.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analyses (surveys, job observations) and ensure results are formally approved by managers.
  • Support activity managers in implementing collective prevention actions (work organization, role clarity, communication channels) rather than focusing on individual case management.
  • Establish and maintain the governance structure around PSR prevention, ensuring smooth coordination between HR, the operational and functional units, and the EHS team.
  • Draft the annual PSR prevention report, incorporating assessment results and action plans, and present findings to the Health & Safety Committee (HSC/CSS).
  • Lead the end-to-end investigation process for psychosocial incidents, from factual analysis and root cause identification to supporting the development and recommendation of corrective measures.
  • Coordinate PSR prevention initiatives with other Airbus divisions to harmonize risk mapping and prevention tools.
