About The Position

Ericsson is looking for an International Mobility Specialist to join its International Mobility (IM) team and play a key role in enabling global talent movement across Americas (special focus on Canada and USA). Based in Canada (flexible location), this individual contributor role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted IM partner, managing end-to-end mobility processes, including Long-Term and Short-Term Assignments, while advising and supporting the business to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of international mobility experience in multinational environments, including assignments to and from Canada and the USA.
  • 5+ years of experience also in international mobility in LATAM countries.
  • Strong advisory, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated change management and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing vendors across tax, relocation, and immigration services
  • Day-to-day usage of Excel, SuccessFactors, and AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Ability to manage complex and sensitive cases with adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a strong stakeholder-focused mindset
  • Bilingual French and English is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Advise stakeholders on IM policies, risks, tax, payroll, labour law, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to Ericsson's IM policies and applicable external regulations, including tax, immigration, labour, and data privacy
  • Manage end-to-end IM processes: initiation, relocation, assignment management, and repatriation
  • Coordinate payroll, tax settlements, allowances, and third-party payments
  • Partner with vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and serve as an escalation point for complex cases
  • Provide clear guidance to managers, HR teams, and employees on IM processes
  • Maintain accurate assignment records and contribute to monthly business reviews
  • Support IM projects, change initiatives, process simplification, and data-driven decision-making
