About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Operator role is a hands-on position at a soybean processing plant. Responsibilities include soybean receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and transferring. Operators will monitor stored grain conditions, load out soybean meal and oil, and maintain and clean facilities and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. This role involves cross-training for various tasks and ensuring food safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator is preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
  • Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
