As a Sox Analyst (Level I or II) in Tulsa, OK, you will support accounting operations, deliver financial insights, and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1+ year experience or internship (Level I)
  • 2+ years experience (energy preferred) (Level II)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excel proficiency
  • Communication and collaboration
  • SOX knowledge (Level II depth)

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, SEC and management reporting, variance analysis)
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and financial analyses
  • Support audits with clear documentation
  • Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Improve processes with a focus on efficiency and automation
  • Support SOX compliance activities (Level II focus; exposure at Level I)
  • Participate in segregation of duties reviews
  • Improve and automate controls and processes
  • Support day-to-day accounting activities (Level I)
  • Build knowledge of systems and processes (Level I)
  • Own deliverables and work independently (Level II)
  • Guide team members and solve complex issues (Level II)
