About The Position

As a Sales Associate at the Florida Aquarium, you will provide guests with world-class service and create a memorable photo experience. You will take photos and provide guests with souvenirs, operate sales and photography equipment, and help ensure photo operations run smoothly. Photography experience is not required. The role is based in a fun, fast-paced environment and includes a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Be a team player who can also work independently.
Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Be flexible to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to process sales transactions and be comfortable handling cash.
Be at least 16 years of age.
Be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
Participate as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
Engage in a friendly manner with guests, staff, and coworkers.
Operate the POS system and photography equipment.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
