About The Position

Originally established to help dealers meet the growing needs of their niche consumers, Integral dx has become adept at providing OEM products tailored to the specific needs of its clients. Today Integral dx offers a family of products designed and built to meet the needs and challenges out in the field. This position requires regular travel within the region and involves making strategic face-to-face sales calls to enhance Integral dx's overall sales opportunities. With the help of leadership, this position would assist in building senior level relationships with key customers in the region and would identify and enhance sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years' experience
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record OR any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance.
  • Read and interpret documents.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before groups of customers and Integral dx employees.
  • Use Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project.
  • Be technologically advanced on smart devices.
  • Have knowledge of machinery, equipment, material, bill of materials, etc.
  • Utilize strong active listening skills.
  • Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business results within a defined geographical region, including marketing, sales, and service coordination.
  • Engage in direct sales and service, dealer sales and service, and distributor sales and service activities.
  • Make strategic face-to-face sales calls to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Assist in building senior level relationships with key customers and identify/enhance sales opportunities.
  • Research current market to develop and maintain an accurate regional contact database.
  • Understand customer applications to identify sales opportunities and convert them into new business.
  • Contact and meet regularly with current and prospective customers to develop relationships.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on product demonstrations.
  • Understand and review product drawings, 3D models, and bills of material for presentations and proposals.
  • Answer technical and applications questions, liaising with engineering and/or manufacturing for complex inquiries.
  • Prepare, review, and present product sales proposals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding quotes, competitive information, trade shows, threats, and opportunities.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing for accurate proposal data and post-win information.
  • Gain a working knowledge of MRP to manage, prospect, and close sales opportunities.
  • Conduct new product delivery training/commissioning and promote aftermarket offerings.
  • Coordinate warranty and/or service work within the region; may perform light service work.
  • Participate in developing and executing marketing strategies for the territory.
  • Participate in regional associations, regional and national trade shows, and lead follow-up efforts.
  • Prepare or assist in preparing exhibitor lists for trade shows.
  • Participate in business planning and/or budget planning.
  • Participate in training new Territory Managers as needed.
  • Provide weekly activity summary reports to Management.
  • Achieve and maintain proficiency in manufacturing and engineering terminology.
