About The Position

Gordon Food Service is offering a 10-week rotational internship program designed to provide interns with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of the food distribution industry. The program allows interns to experience different departments, including Commercial and Non-Commercial Sales, and Transportation. Interns will have the opportunity to travel within the region to engage directly with off-site customers and gain on-site Distribution Center experience. This internship aims to help participants build their resumes, contribute to projects, learn about Gordon Food Service, and foster professional and personal growth within an amazing culture.

Requirements

• Incoming Junior or Senior status as of May 2027 (Minimum of 56 credit hours).
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work in various areas of the food industry through a rotational program.
• Learn about Commercial and Non-Commercial Sales.
• Gain experience in Transportation.
• Travel within the region to engage directly with off-site customers.
• Gain on-site Distribution Center experience.
• Collaborate with seasoned professionals and contribute to valuable projects.
