About The Position

Revau is in full expansion and experiencing sustained organic growth, reaffirming our ambition to transform the commercial insurance industry. We believe in a more efficient approach to business insurance: reducing inefficiencies, valuing expertise, and enabling brokers to maximize their development. We are looking for a Liability Underwriter with 3 to 5 years of experience, recognized for their proactivity, autonomy, and business development mindset. This role is intended for a profile that does not only analyze risk, but also seeks to actively build, develop, and grow a portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Liability – AVP Technical Risks, you will primarily be responsible for analyzing risks submitted by brokers and managing renewals, while ensuring the quality of underwritten risks is adequate to achieve maximum profitability. You will determine terms and pricing for risks and, when necessary, seek the expertise of technical specialists. You must comply with established internal standards and procedures and, if required, obtain approval from the team lead and/or partner insurers following a referral. In case of risk rejection, you must be able to briefly justify the reasons for the decision.
