About The Position

The Sous Chef is responsible for supervising kitchen operations. This role assists with the selection, training, and supervision of culinary staff. The Sous Chef also assists with the preparation of foods, ensuring menu quality and consistency from receiving and inspecting raw food to preparation and presentation. Additionally, the Sous Chef promotes positive relations and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree, may substitute additional experience for degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year of appropriate experience
  • Strong organizational, culinary and supervisory skills
  • Able to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently
