About The Position

Under the direction of the Restaurant Chef, the Sous Chef plans and supervises daily operations of the kitchen to provide a positive guest experience and quality products (menu items/offerings). The incumbent will be responsible for all duties of the Restaurant Chef in his absence. Responsible for maintaining quality levels, cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Requires formal training and accreditation from an accredited culinary institute with one or two years food production experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Must be able to perform simple numerical calculations.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to consistently lift fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and kneel.

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation.
  • Show a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
