About The Position

The Sous Chef – Conference Catering supports high-touch conferences, meetings, and executive meals within Morgan Stanley’s Client Dining Center. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly visible—ideal for a driven culinary professional ready to operate at an elevated level. You will join a world-class culinary team ranging from Michelin-starred chefs to James Beard Award winners as we continue to build the gold standard for corporate dining.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of professional kitchen experience
  • Background in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or executive dining preferred
  • Strong plating, timing, and multi-station execution skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure with professionalism and composure

Responsibilities

  • Execute plated meals, conferences, and executive events
  • Support multiple stations and assist with advanced plating and timing
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and speed during peak service windows
  • Uphold sanitation and organization standards at all times
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on daily execution and service flow
  • Support training and mentorship of junior culinary staff
