About The Position

We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to support a high-end, premier client account located in Skillman, NJ with a strong focus on exceptional food quality, presentation, and elevated hospitality. The operation includes two full-service cafés and catering, including occasional after-hours cocktail parties and special events within a sophisticated client environment.

Requirements

A.S. or equivalent experience
Culinary background in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or other high-end culinary operations
Strong culinary standards with a passion for quality, presentation, and guest experience
Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
Ability to confidently lead the culinary operation in the absence of the Executive Chef
Experience with catering and special events is highly desirable
Bilingual skills are a plus
Professional, polished, and comfortable working directly within a premier client environment
Catering experience required
Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities
ServSafe certified - highly desirable

Responsibilities

Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
Produces and execute catering events
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
