About The Position

Join our culinary team at one of the most premier and visually stunning corporate dining accounts in Boston, MA— the Bain Capital office, offering 360‑degree skyline views. This location is known for exceptional service, an innovative food program, and a welcoming, relationship‑driven environment. As the Sous Chef, you’ll support daily culinary operations with a strong front‑facing presence—working stations up to four days per week, engaging guests at the Chef’s Table, and contributing to menu execution across breakfast, lunch, and conference catering (including some evening events). This is an ideal role for a talented restaurant‑experienced cook ready to step into a corporate environment and grow their management skills.

Requirements

A.S. or equivalent experience
Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Must be experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail, and the Internet
Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities

Nice To Haves

Catering experience a plus
High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
ServSafe certified - highly desirable

Responsibilities

Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures for the account
Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
Produces and executes catering events
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
