About The Position

Maui Brewing Co. Kihei is looking for a top-notch Sous Chef to join their craft 'ohana. Maui Brewing Company Restaurants are a direct extension of the values and practices employed in brewing their handcrafted ales and lagers. They are passionate about the craft beer way of life, using local ingredients, sustainability, and giving back to their local community. They are looking for fun, energetic people excited to represent an environmentally conscious, fiercely local, handcrafted restaurant and brewpub. The Kihei restaurant is looking to grow its BOH team with an experienced Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will be someone who is friendly, reliable, quick, organized and can follow safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• TB clearance is necessary upon being hired to work in the State of Hawaii (restaurants/food handling).

• Train and empower kitchen staff to excel in their roles, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
• Ensure seamless operations and maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
• Uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety, ensuring every dish meets our Maui Brewing Co. standards.
• Address any kitchen issues promptly to guarantee a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Foster smooth communication and collaboration with our front-of-house team to ensure consistent service quality.
