Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, the Sourcing Specialist plays an essential role in Procurement. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing strategies, vendor relationship management, lead time reduction and YOY cost savings achievement. You will work closely with the Sourcing Manager and provide strategic sourcing solutions to key functional groups: Raw Materials (Research and Innovations, Finance, Regulatory, Sales, Supply Planning & Quality) and Packaging (Packaging Development, Research and Innovations, Product Development, Project Launch Managers, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Planning & Quality).

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in procurement/sourcing (manufacturing, CPG, retail, or distribution preferred)
  • Knowledge of sourcing lifecycle, RFX, and procure-to-pay processes
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/cloud tools
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Beauty, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical or Food industry experience is an asset.
  • MBA, Lean Six Sigma, APICS, CSCMP, CPSM, CPIM certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing projects: assess needs, evaluate options, and recommend strategies
  • Develop category sourcing strategies using data, market insights, and supplier analysis
  • Manage supplier lifecycle: sourcing, qualification, performance, and risk mitigation
  • Conduct RFX processes, negotiations, and contract management (with legal support)
  • Identify cost-saving and lead time reduction opportunities to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform spend analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain supplier database and develop contingency plans for supply risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and provide guidance/training
  • Spearhead change management process for faster launch and fill rates
  • Undertake other duties as required in support of the department
