A procurement / sourcing specialist is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to optimize the company's buying power. Key responsibilities will include processing requests, gathering bids along with pricing, issuing purchase orders, confirming receipts, processing invoices, tracking shipments, and handling downstream reporting. This role requires close collaboration with other Contract Analysts, Supply Chain Specialists (Buyers), and Operations. Relevant experience might include supply chain, inventory management, procurement, logistics, oil and gas, or IT.
