About The Position
The Sourcing Specialist supports strategic sourcing through supplier research, competitive bidding, commercial analysis, negotiations, and market intelligence. The role focuses on supplier selection and commercial optimization before purchasing execution. It is in the Supply Chain department and reports to the Sourcing Manager.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- ERP or procurement system experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier market research and identify qualified suppliers.
- Prepare and manage RFQs and RFPs.
- Analyze supplier quotations and total cost of ownership.
- Develop bid evaluations and award recommendations.
- Support supplier qualification and preferred supplier programs.
- Assist with negotiation of pricing, rebates, terms, and blanket agreements.
- Monitor commodity markets and supplier risks.
- Transition awarded suppliers to Purchasing for execution.
