About The Position

King County Metro Transit is seeking a full-time Sourcing Recruiter (Sr. HR Analyst) who is passionate about identifying exceptional engineering talent and committed to advancing equity, diversity, and social justice. This is an opportunity to recruit the professionals whose engineering expertise will help advance the delivery of infrastructure and systems that support safe, reliable, and sustainable public transportation throughout King County. This is not a plug-and-play recruiting role. We’re looking for a bold, strategic Sourcing Recruiter to build and lead an entirely new talent sourcing program for Metro’s Capital Division. In this role, 75% of your time will be spent hunting for hard-to-find engineering and technical talent and 25% driving full-cycle recruiting. You will develop innovative sourcing strategies, cultivate talent pipelines, and recruit professionals across multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering, along with other specialized technical roles essential to delivering Metro's capital programs. The Capital Division is responsible for planning, designing, and delivering the infrastructure investments that expand and improve transit throughout King County. From major transit facilities and bus rapid transit corridors to electrification initiatives, passenger amenities, and complex transportation infrastructure, your work will directly influence the team building projects that move communities toward a more connected, sustainable future. If you are highly self-motivated, enjoy solving complex talent challenges, and are energized by building something from the ground up, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact. Every engineer you recruit will help deliver projects that improve mobility, advance sustainability, and create equitable transportation options for generations to come. Your work won't simply fill positions; it will help build the future of public transportation.
