About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. Blue Origin is pioneering the future of space-based communications with TeraWave, a revolutionary satellite communications network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth. This multi-orbit constellation will consist of optically interconnected satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit (MEO), providing enterprise-grade connectivity for critical operations worldwide. As a Sourcing Recruiter on the TeraWave Talent Acquisition team, you'll partner with hiring managers to build the technical teams that design, test, manufacture, and launch the satellites behind this network. You own sourcing strategy and early-stage candidate engagement across ASIC design, optical and radio frequency engineering, networking, and software functions. You broaden the candidate pipeline into new talent markets and directly determine the speed and quality with which TeraWave scales its engineering workforce.

Requirements

  • A completed Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience across engineering, hardware design, testing, or IT roles.
  • Experience generating candidate leads using multiple sourcing platforms, tools, and outreach methods.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in space, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, or technology hardware industries.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units or programs with rapidly changing or competing hiring priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Workday applicant tracking system for requisition management and candidate workflow tracking.
  • Experience planning or supporting recruiting events or targeted hiring campaigns.
  • Experience establishing recruiting processes, sourcing channels, or talent functions in new markets.
  • Strong attention to detail, high standards, and professional communication with proven ability to influence and advise business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sourcing plans and search strategies that generate talent pools, networks, and pipelines for assigned requisitions.
  • Convert prospects into candidates through targeted outreach, relationship building, screening, and initial interviews.
  • Calibrate candidate profiles with hiring managers and adjust search strategy based on interview feedback.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders in scoping discussions, weekly tag ups, and candidate debriefs.
  • Prepare search status reports and present pipeline updates to stakeholders on active searches.
  • Research technical requirements for ASIC, optical, radio frequency, networking, and software requisitions.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, panel logistics, and collection of interviewer feedback and scoring.
  • Communicate compensation and benefits details and notify candidates of hiring decisions.
